Hello. My name is Miyuki Takashima.
Thank you for visiting my website.

I have a passion for communicating with people and learning languages.
At the root of choosing the profession, as a Japanese teacher is the joy of connecting with people in languages.
I still remember how satisfied when my American English teacher in middle school understood what I said in English.  That was a very important experience in my life to make up my mind to study English harder.

I hope that everyone who wants to learn Japanese will enjoy communicating in Japanese and make their life better and more joyful in Japan.
“Languages” are an important tool for us to communicate with others.
If you understand and speak Japanese, your life in Japan or your business with Japanese would be much more satisfying and enjoyable.  
I believe that no matter how advanced AI becomes, nothing will ever be more valuable than being able to communicate our thoughts in our own words.

May “people and people” and “people and society” be connected through Japanese.

Biography

 

1998 1 year study abroad in Canada.

2002 Completed Japanese language teacher training course.

2004 Wrote a graduation thesis on the theme of "Muslims living in Nagoya" at the university and received the Excellence Award.

2006 Wrote a master's thesis on the theme of "Greek Orthodox Christians in Nagoya" at graduate school.

2006 Started working at a telecommunications sales company in Japan as a member of the product development, marketing, branding and product development department. After that, I moved to the product procurement department to discover and procure new products.

2018 Started working as a part-time lecturer at a Japanese language school in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

2020 Started working as a self-employed Japanese teacher.
